Have you ever wanted to make your own video game, music video, interactive presentation or movie? Come learn how, with Scratch, the ultra-cool, easy to use and FREE software program from MIT...
We'll start with some simple projects to get going, then throw the door open to YOUR ideas. We'll share our creations with friends and family in a special Friday afternoon exhibition!


Camp Information

  • Dates: to be announced
  • Time: 1 pm - 4 pm
  • Limited to 12 kids, entering 3rd-6th
  • $95, including materials (scholarships available)
  • Bring a snack
  • Want to come early for lunch? Arrive at noon with a lunch from home for an extra $10/week.

Parents, need more time? It's a quick walk to the Eugene Parks and Rec Fun for All program at University Park. Fun for All is a free, supervised recreation program in the park, open from 10:00 am - 5:30 pm.


Kirsti Haugen will lead this camp, with an assistant. Kirsti is a teacher and an Edison parent who has led the afterschool publishing program and digital animation classes at Edison as well as other classes for kids, parents and teachers on digital images and photography, blogging, wikis, and much more.
