In this Summer Science Program we will be building fuel-powered rockets. All materials will be supplied and rockets will be built from scratch. Each student will build his or her own rocket and will have an in-class opportunity to launch the rocket at least once. Students keep their rockets and they can be reused for launch repeatedly. The curriculum also includes slideshows, podcasts, and the science behind aerodynamics and space travel. It has been a hit in the past and I am glad to offer this class again.
